This is so much fun!

5 @ the Hive BOM blocks completed last night

Well, I have been a very busy cowgirl.  I worked on my blocks until about 10 pm last night and got all the blocks made and/or cut out........They look fabulous!  I haven't done any housework but my blocks are complete and that is a HUGE accomplishment for me!

 This photo is what I accomplished tonight.  I am so  excited and and can hardly believe that I almost have a complete quilt top.  I even had time to catch a movie with my friend Seanna and do a little target practice with my hubby.  It feels wonderful to know that I am getting so much done.  More to come!

Blogging for the first time!

Ok, so I decided that I was finally going to start a blog.  Not just any blog but a blog about all my unfinished quilting projects, and let me tell you there is a whole mess of them too!  My friend, Jennifer of Sewhooked, had this wonderful idea of doing 12 unfinished projects in 2012. This is just what I needed to get me motivated at finishing all these quilts.

So the first project that will be completed is my 5 @ the Hive block of the month from 2010.

I started this with good intentions but needless to say after 3 months it got buried in one of the many piles.

I will keep you updated on the progress and will post a pic of the completed quilt by January 31st.  Wish me luck!
